Intravenous Infusion

Intravenous Infusion

What is an intravenous drug infusion?

Intravenous infusion means the intravenous administration of large amounts of drugs or solutions through the vein. Intravenous infusion of the drug in the anaesthesia process allows the administration of all anaesthetic drugs, muscle relaxants and various drugs that can be applied intravenously.

Since anaesthetics and other intravenously applied drugs participate in the circulation directly, it ensures that they are effective in a short time at the desired dose. It allows the administration of many drugs in such cases as prophylaxis and hypertension during anaesthesia and surgical procedures.
